Peter M. Jeffery, CIC
President
Peter Jeffery (732.946.4800, Ext. 12 - p.jeffery@holmesmcdowell.com) President of Holmes & McDowell, Inc. Peter brings 20 years of insurance industry leadership experience to the table, along with a desire to double the growth of the Agency by 2010. Peter’s vision is to position Holmes & McDowell as the agency of choice in the Holmdel, New Jersey area; by providing risk management services that will identify exposures, reduce risk, and enhance the reputation and image of the agency as the area’s most trusted insurance advisor.
Peter earned his Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation in 2001 and is currently an active member of the CIC Society. Peter holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing/Management from Davis and Elkins College in Elkins, West Virginia.
Peter has always been an active member of his community. He served as Treasurer for the Millstone Township Foundation for Educational Excellence for the past six years and prior to that was the Treasurer for the Millstone Lions Club. He is also an active member of the Monmouth Ocean Development Council and the Shore Builders Association of Central New Jersey, Inc. An avid golfer and fisherman, Peter’s most enjoyable extracurricular is watching his children play sports. Equally important is his passion for education: “More than anything else, I want to help to improve the educational experience of all of the children in our township.”
